The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Parks and Watercraft, is again providing a discount for overnight stays at Ohio State Parks as an incentive to support Ohio’s summer library programs.
Any Ohio public library may distribute the certificate. The certificate is for all ages and is good for a $10 discount on camping, getaway rentals, lodges, or cabins at participating locations through September 30, 2024.
This year, the certificate is being distributed directly to Ohio public libraries. Janet emailed the certificate, details, and instructions to the Summer Library Program point person/persons at each Ohio public library system (same person/persons who receive CSLP manual access codes for your library). If your library didn’t receive the certificate, please let her know.
If your library uses the State Parks certificate as an SLP incentive, be sure to print/copy the certificates on green paper (any shade), include your library name on each certificate, and read the fine print and have your patrons read the fine print.
The Ohio State Fair youth admission voucher should be ready soon and will be distributed the same way, directly to Ohio public libraries. Spring is here and summer’s on its way. Happy planning!
