NEO-RLS Member Portal Got an Upgrade!

Did you know that everyone with a NEO-RLS account has access to a membership portal? If you use the login button at the top of our homepage, you can check out the new and improved portal today!

The continuing education calendar you know and love is still front and center, but there’s more to explore. From your Member Dashboard, you can easily update your username or password, take a look back at your continuing education transcript, and see what webinars and workshops you are currently registered for.

We’ve also made it easier to find and connect with some of our other resources. You’ll see highlights for the message boards, Jobline, circulating kits, and the archived webinar library.

We hope this updated portal makes your experience with the NEO-RLS website even smoother and more helpful. Take a look around when you have a moment, and if you have feedback or ideas, we’d love to hear from you!

Reimagining School Readiness Workshops Registration Now Open

Registration is open now for two upcoming Reimagining School Readiness Workshops.

April 14, 2026 – Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County Main Library 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

May 6, 2026 – Clermont County Public Library Milford – Miami Branch 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Do you wonder what research really says about how to support school readiness?

The Reimagining School Readiness Toolkit is a suite of research-backed resources created for library staff to help families prepare children ages birth to 8 years for success in school and in life.

Through an interactive presentation with hands-on activities, this training will introduce library staff to the research, practical implications, and resources offered in the toolkit. Library staff who work with children from ages 0 – 8 and their families will benefit most from this training. The workshop will be in-person at the State Library of Ohio.

Andover Public Library Partners with Pawsitive Therapy Dogs to Support Reading Goals

Recently, Andover Public Library was featured in the Gazette News for their partnership with Pawsitive Therapy Dogs to help the individuals at Greenlight Workforce, LLC in Dorset who are working on their reading goals. While traditional dog reading programs focus on young children learning to read, this collaboration is aimed at helping adults at Greenlight Workforce, LLC. Staff from Andover Public Library are choosing books that are appropriate for the reading level and interests of the adults.
