A Note From the Executive Director |
Last month, we requested submissions for our new Library Spotlight and we were thrilled with the response! Now, we want to keep the momentum going and continue showcasing the incredible work happening in libraries across the region and beyond.
We invite all libraries, big and small, to submit their news, events, successes, and highlights for our upcoming editions of the weekly newsletter and on our website. This is your chance to shine a spotlight on the amazing initiatives, programs, and achievements happening at your library. Let's continue celebrating the incredible work you do and the impact you have on individuals and communities! To submit, simply send an email to ragan.snead@neo-rls.org. Don’t forget to include any relevant photos or links that can help us better understand and showcase your achievements. We eagerly await your submissions, and we can't wait to feature your library in our upcoming Library Spotlights!
To see past spotlights, visit the Library Spotlight Page. Have a great day! Ragan |

| Corrections to 2023 CSLP Manual Crossword & Reluctant Reader Activity Record
Below is an update from the Collaborative Summer Library Program’s new Executive Director, Dawn Krause, addressing errors in a catalog item and a downloadable. The CSLP online manual and downloadables (including corrected crossword) are available on the CSLP website. Contact Janet Ingraham Dwyer for the 2023 access code for Ohio. Enter it here to get to the 2023 All Together Now manual: https://www.cslpreads.org/2023-all-together-now/
The activity record with corrected 15-minute increments is available for download here.
From Dawn:
We were made aware of a couple errors on CSLP items recently: -
The reluctant reader activity records (new this year) didn’t have the correct 15-minute time increments in a few bubbles on the tracking side. They are no longer available in the store due to the error, but are largely still useable by libraries. Some libraries opted to create a sticker to put over the timing errors and we thought that was a workaround worth passing on. We also created a corrected version for download.
-
The Famous Friends in Children’s Lit crossword had a duplicate clue so we updated that in each relevant version of the online manual.
We apologize for any inconvenience these errors may have caused. We thank the libraries that noted the errors and promptly notified us. |
