Adult Services Assistant
Hours /FLSA status: 20 hours part-time non-exempt, Ability to work a varied schedule that includes mornings, afternoons, one evening per week, and rotating Saturdays
Reports to: Head of Adult Services
Rate of Pay: $16.00

The Adult Services Assistant is a part-time position that supports library users of all ages through front-line reference and customer service, while also assisting with adult-focused programs and services. This role helps connect patrons with information, technology, and resources, and contributes to creating a welcoming and engaging public library environment for all. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with the community and supporting lifelong learning.

Position Summary:Provides direct reference and reader\'s advisory service to the public and contributes to Adult Services support activities, including collection maintenance, and programming in collaboration with the Head of Adult Services. Provides assistance and training to the public on digital resources.
