Are you passionate about building dynamic, inclusive, and responsive library collections that meet the expanding needs of our community? Geauga County Public Library is seeking a knowledgeable and forward-thinking Collection Development Librarian to lead the selection, evaluation, and management of our library\'s adult materials. In this vital role, you will help shape the library\'s collection strategy, and collaborate with staff to support lifelong learning and discovery for all patrons.

Under limited supervision, acts as the system-wide selector in assigned areas. Participates in system collection development including selection, classification, replacement and weeding of library materials. Regularly works at all branches to maintain awareness of community needs. Coverage at branches may be, but are not limited to: 9 AM to 1 PM, 1 to 5 PM, or 5 to 9 PM with occasional Saturdays. Must be able to contribute to creating a positive library experience to a diverse group of patrons.

Wage: $21.75 - $28.97 per hour, based on experience
