Oberlin College Libraries seeks a creative, collaborative, and service-oriented Head of Circulation and Access Services to lead our library\'s access services team. This is a key role in the library system, overseeing all aspects of circulation, reserves, resource sharing, and stack maintenance to ensure that our community enjoys seamless, friendly, and efficient access to library resources. The ideal candidate will enjoy connecting people with information and creating helpful and welcoming spaces.

The position reports to the Director of Libraries, supervises five full-time dedicated staff and develops and implements workflows, schedules (including student assistants), and strategic goals for the area. Working closely with colleagues across the library, this position also oversees a circulation and access working group that strives for best practices and consistency in access services for the main library, two branches (Art & Science) and the Conservatory Library. In short, this person plays a vital role in supporting our mission and strategic goals.
