Details:
Under the supervision of the Adult Services Assistant Manager, instructs and assists library patrons in the use of makerspace equipment and software such as sound recording gear, 3D printers, vinyl and craft cutters, CNC machines, laser engravers, sewing machines, heat press, etc. Plans programs and offers 1-on-1 and small group instruction to a variety of ages including youth and adults. Responsible for providing excellent customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in a makerspace or other creative space environment and/or knowledge of makerspace equipment/software
• Strong computer and technology skills
• Ability to work with the public
• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or experience working in a Makerspace or with Makerspace equipment required
• Library experience preferred

HOURS
24 hours per week
Daytime, evening and weekend hours required as needed

JOB CLASSIFICATION
Associate, Salary Grade 300, Range - $13.80 to $19.48, Non-Exempt
