Job Title: Outreach Assistant Librarian – Full Time-37.5 hours Salary: $17.09 per hour Benefits: 7 paid holidays, paid vacation (2-weeks in 1st year, 4-weeks in 2nd year), personal days (4-days per year) and sick leave (equivalent to 6-days per year). Health Benefits include Single/Family Medical, Dental, and Vision with 80/20 split of premiums (employee’s cost is 20% of premium). · Build relationships throughout the community, serving as the library’s friendly face in schools, community centers, and local events. · Foster a love of reading and learning by creating inviting spaces, both inside and outside the library, where young minds can thrive. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree. · Experience working with children, teens, and adults in a library, school, or community setting. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building community connections. · Proficiency in using and teaching digital tools and resources. · Creativity and a proactive attitude towards creating enriching experiences. · Enthusiasm for fostering a fun, positive, and engaging environment for youth.
