The Content Workflow Analyst is responsible for playing a key role to drive Kanopy’s PDA adoption, retention and expansion by partnering with libraries and applying best practices and solutions to ensure that streaming film acquisition needs are met. In this role, you will use your knowledge of library acquisition and collection development workflows as well as your technical expertise to ensure that PDA programs are successfully designed, implemented, and adjusted to meet desired outcomes in adopting this program.

Kanopy is a video streaming platform that brings people together through film. By partnering with universities and libraries, we’ve made it possible to offer free access to the world’s top film collection for millions of people.

Responsibilities:
• Partner with libraries to execute and manage successful PDA programs adhering to internal workflows and best practices.
• Analyze PDA usage and expenditure data on an ongoing basis to formulate consultative suggestions for improvement for libraries to consider.
• Support customers in the implementation and continued use of Kanopy and Kanopy Administrator features and liaise inter-departmentally as needed.
• Develop and manage relationships with new and existing customers.
• Ensure internal tracking portals, spreadsheets and documents are up to date with customer and account information.
• Liaise with Account Executives to identify opportunities to expand spending ability including, but not limited to supplemental subscriptions, and multi-year or perpetual licensing options.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on customer renewals and maintenance, assisting with the response plan and support as appropriate.
• Communicate customer needs, feedback, and enhancement ideas internally.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with teams and partners.
• Advise on content-related projects or questions across the company.
• Create and deliver presentations as needed.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience required. Master’s Degree in Library Science or related field preferred.
• 2 - 5 years’ of related academic library experience.
• Experience working with academic library vendors.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated initiative and creativity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong knowledge of the academic library industry.
• Detail oriented with strong technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated ability to complete assigned tasks and objectives, meet timelines, and provide updates.
• Strong problem solving, consulting, and prioritization skills.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including intermediate excel experience.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations.
• Ability to assist in training others in department processes.
