Description
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library is looking for a customer service focused, enthusiastic, flexible and creative Adult Services Librarian for the Willoughby Library location. This position will be responsible for planning and implementing adult programs, participating in outreach opportunities and collection development of specified adult fiction and non-fiction areas. Providing assistance to patrons with computers and devices at point of use, in group settings and one-on-one tutorials is also required.
Requirements
Qualifications: ALA-Accredited MLIS. Knowledge of books and authors. Ability to present programs. Proficient in the use of personal computers, including research databases, search engines and software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Knowledge of, and ability to instruct others on the use of eReaders and other portable technologies. Willingness to promote the Library in the community by attending or participating in appropriate civic, school, community and outreach activities. Excellent customer service skills.
Full-time--40 hours per week, including evening and weekend hours.
Pay Range: $22.05-$23.00 per hour. Full benefits.
