Pay Scale: Library Associate I Pay rate for new hires: $ 10.35 per hour

Wages and terms of employment are covered by the collective bargaining agreement between the Portage County District Library (PCDL) and District 1199, SEIU.

Hours: Average of 20 hours per week, includes some evenings and weekends.

Hourly, non-exempt, bargaining unit.

Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalency. Customer service skills. Basic

computer skills and /or ability to learn such skills.

Job Overview: Circulation clerks serve patrons by checking material in and out, answering

phones and patron questions, working on special projects, and assisting in the Youth

Service area as necessary. See Position Description for additional requirements.
