Event Description
"Imagine Your Story” is the theme for this year’s summer reading program. Come join your children’s library colleagues for a program focused on summer reading. There will be something for everyone whether you choose this theme or not. In this workshop you will hear about Mother Goose, story walks, a dragon parade, how science is magic, and more. You will come away with ideas for decorations, multiple craft ideas, and have fun playing our trivia game.
ATTENTION ATTENDEES: We will be having a lightning round of crafts. Please bring a craft to share with the group. This workshop includes lunch. Sessions to Include: Imagine Your Story Overview Carly Rogers, Youth Services Librarian at Sandusky Library & member of the 2020 CSLP manual committee, will share an overview of this year's redesigned "Imagine Your Story" manual for summer learning program. Presenter: Carly Rogers is a Youth Services Librarian at the Sandusky Library in Sandusky, Ohio. She has served on the CSLP children's & early literacy manual committees for the past few years.
