Event Description
Part I: Having the right people in place at the right time to serve your visitors/customers/clients is critical. But sometimes we are challenged by the availability of top talent in our labor market or there are internal constraints such as time and budget that prevent us from finding and getting the best people.
Our March 2018 program will be an interactive one where we will discuss these challenges and learn how we can successfully meet them. In this session you will learn:
Part II: The importance of job descriptions, presented by Pam Linger, Senior Manager of Human Resources, Westlake Porter Public Library. Job descriptions are more than just a list of tasks. They serve as the basis for employee performance expectations, protecting both the employer and employee. This program will address the importance of having solid job descriptions as well as provide the legal reasons for having accurate and updated job descriptions. Pam will share job description insights and share real risks as well as sensible solutions. Bring your job description questions with you! Light refreshments will be provided. Location
