Presenter: Nicole Beckwith is an investigator and digital forensic analyst for the Auditor of State. She is a state recognized expert on cybersecurity, policy, and cyberterrorism, and has spoken throughout the state on many topics including cybercrime, money laundering, fraud, and best practices for local governments. Nicole wrote the first policy on social media and internet usage for a leading defense industry corporation that has been adapted by many corporations since. In law enforcement, Nicole has brought dozens of criminals to justice, assisting in numerous undercover narcotics and prostitution stings and worked with the FBI on their public corruption unit. Nicole is a member of the United States Secret Service Southern Districts Electronic and Financial Crime Task Force where she works alongside agents on investigations involving counterfeiting, terrorism, and electronic crimes. Nicole was accepted into the National Computer Forensics Institute and is trained in computer forensics, network investigations and network intrusion response.
