School Library Journal presents its 12th annual free virtual event, SLJTeen Live! on Thursday, August 17 from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm ET.

 

Attend to learn about the latest and most exciting forthcoming titles for teens and tweens. From rom-coms and mysteries to graphic novels and classic coming-of-age stories, this daylong program of author panels, in-depth conversations, and keynote talks will keep you inspired and entertained.

 

Along with live author panels and keynotes, attendees may also visit the virtual exhibit hall to meet with leading publishers, enjoy additional chats, and download digital galleys and other free resources.

Student STEM Events - Aviation Day 2023

T

he Office of STEM Engagement (OSTEM) has a strong interest in strengthening relationships with organizations that support students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) careers.  Aviation Day is a one-day event that is designed to celebrate the advancements in Aviation and inspire middle and high school student interest in STEM fields as they relate to Aeronautics. The event features NASA Scientists and Engineers working in STEM fields in Aeronautics at NASA Glenn, engaging STEM activities, and tours of NASA Glenn’s facilities.

 

Eligibility/Requirements

This opportunity is open to sixth through twelfth grade students enrolled at a public, private, charter, or home school located in NASA Glenn's home state of Ohio. (Students should be counted for the grade level they will be entering at the start of the 2023-2024 school year).

Participants may register as individuals or as a group. Groups are limited to up to 25 students per organization.

Parents or guardians must apply on behalf of any students under the age of 14. This adult must be a United States citizen or a Lawful Permanent Resident (LPR).

Parents or adult caregivers are not required to attend or participate with their student(s) during the event.

Event Date – August 29, 2023

Event Time – 9 a.m. – 2:15 p.m. Eastern

 

Registration Information

After registration closes, all registrants will receive a welcome letter with logistics for attending the Aviation Day event.
