The Shaker Heights Public Library is seeking a full time Assistant Circulation Services Manager for the Main Library. The Assistant Circulation Services Manager supervises and trains Library Aides at the Main Library, maintains assigned library equipment, and oversees the shelving and retrieval of library materials. When the Circulation Services Manager is not available, this position supervises and directs the work of the Circulation Services Department
We are a busy, diverse, inner-ring suburban library. We are looking for an energetic, experienced, flexible team player with a commitment to outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be an adaptable problem solver with strong interpersonal skills and a sense of humor. Must enjoy working with people of all ages and backgrounds in a lively environment.
High School Diploma and a minimum of three (3) years library experience with progressive levels of responsibility or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training. Excellent computer, written and verbal communication skills, as well as skill in organization, supervision and planning required.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week. This position works a variety of day, evening, and weekend hours
Benefits: The library offers health, dental, and life insurance, as well as generous paid time off including vacation, sick, and holiday hours.
Salary: $20.51 per hour
