Shelving Page
Full or Part-Time Position:
Part-time
Hours Per Week:
15 hours
Duties of a Shelving Page include, but are not limited to:
· Shelving all library materials in all formats
· Shelf reading
· Shelf Maintenance
· Shifting of materials
· Maintaining the orderly appearance of both floors of the library
Physical demands with or without accommodation:
· Must have the ability to push and pull a loaded book cart of up to 300 lbs. and to move/lift materials up to 50 lbs.
· Standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching required
· May occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions
Required Qualifications:
• Must be at least 16 years of age. Minors ages 16-17 need a work permit
• Must have reliable transportation
• An email address is required for interdepartmental communication
Schedule:
Days, evenings, and weekends. This is not a “seasonal” position and applicants must be flexible with their availability.
Pay Range:
$10.00
