Job Title: Branch Manager

JOB SUMMARY:
You are a DYNAMIC LEADER who manages team members to provide excellent customer service to the community. You will provide the MAGIC behind the scenes that engages our community and pushes the library initiative forward! You are passionate about developing, supporting, and creating a sense of belonging to your team and community with just the right amount of fun! You will create and maintain an environment of inclusion, diversity, and respect for your staff. You will direct workflow, initiate innovative ideas, manage projects, develop, and promote partnerships with area schools and local organizations with the understanding that the library’s strength is in our ties to the community, and the relationships we build with our customers. This should drive how we develop our programs and services in the future!
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree from an ALA (American Library Association) accredited library school and two years of professional library experience, including two or more years of public library experience in a variety of increasingly responsible leadership/management level positions. Superior oral and written communication skills.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, including evenings & weekends
Starting Pay rate: $27 per hour (commensurate with experience)
