Shaker Heights Public Library seeks a creative, flexible team player with a passionate commitment to customer service. The Technology Experience Specialist will develop and implement technology training programs for library staff and customers, as well as assist with the development of innovative creation spaces in our busy inner-ring suburban library. Responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating technology programming.
• Assisting customers with using library technology and providing training and instruction, both one-on-one and in group classes.
• Training staff on technology equipment and providing knowledgeable, compassionate technology instruction.
• Modeling outstanding customer service.
• Assisting with the development of and ongoing service in the library’s creation spaces, including establishment of general use procedures and 1st level support of creation space equipment.
• Assisting with support and maintenance of the library’s website and staff intranet.

Bachelor’s degree, experience developing learning curriculum and instruction, excellent customer service and communication skills, and demonstrated proficiency with various hardware and software including Windows, MS Office, scanners, audio-visual production equipment, and emerging technologies is required.

This position works a variety of daytime, evening, and weekend hours.

Pay rate: $20.24 per hour
