The Ralph M. Besse Library at Ursuline College is looking for a reliable, customer-focused individual to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
Assist library patrons in locating and utilizing Library and Learning Commons materials and services. Check out Ursuline, OPAL, and OhioLINK items; process notifications and perform other tasks using Sierra, the library's integrated system. Direct student workers and library visitors to appropriate staff and services in the library and elsewhere on campus. Provide basic assistance using library equipment, including computers and printer/scanner/copiers. Monitor activity in the library and report statistics. Provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and community patrons.
Qualifications:
Prefer some college and/or one (1) year experience in library or customer services. Ability to use Microsoft Office, including Excel; some experience with integrated library systems preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred candidate will have flexible availability for scheduling, including day, evening and weekend hours. Must be reliable and responsible.
