Description:
Teen Summer Reading Workshop is back and we will be holding it this year on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at the Twinsburg Public Library!  Featured ideas will include incorporating music into coding, music pop culture through the decades and End of Summer Reading parties.

ATTENTION ATTENDEES: Please bring an idea to share during our ‘round the room program share time. It can be any successful program your library has done and doesn’t necessarily have to be related to summer reading.
To make the most of this great event, we also need attendees to bring handouts of crafts and decoration ideas. Poster sessions/demos are welcome, too. If you will be bringing handouts or would like to set up a poster session please email rachelle.perry@neo-rls.org.

Get your tweens and teens rocking with fun music themed programs this summer and beyond.  Turn a nursery rhyme into a rap song, incorporate hip hop and other dance forms into SCRATCH programming, make history come alive through Hamilton inspired programming, see and hear music come alive with Snap Circuits, and brainstorm together to discover even more wonderful opportunities to rock your library!

The Conneaut Public Library's teen department will cover pop culture beginning in the 1950s to today in their six week summer reading program in a hip and cool atmosphere! From the risque dance moves of Elvis Presley to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" premier to the NSYNC/Backstreet Boyfriend fights... Amanda and Molly have it all! Listen in as they discuss weekly activities, crafts, and more for "Libraries Rock 2018"!
