DESCRIPTION:Hybrid Programming:  A Conversation about Equipment to Engagement\n\n02/24/22 10:00 AM EST\n - 02/24/22 11:00 AM EST\Description:\nNo one has completely conquered hybrid programming.  However, this webinar will provide some input from the libraries that have implemented it.  CJ Lynce, Assistant Director of Westlake Porter Public Library will share information about the equipment that the library purchased and how it is being best utilized along with other equipment that is available on the market.\n\nAvon Lake Public Library made plans for full-on hybrid programming this fall, but some procedures and expectations had to be adjusted. Gerry Vogel , Assistant Director, will offer some lessons learned during the process, and a frank discussion of human factors in successful hybrid programming: what went right, what went wrong, what worked at ALPL, and what may work better elsewhere. \n\nLearning Objectives:\n\n	Learn about different equipment needed for hybrid programming\n	Learn about programs offered\n	What lessons were learned along the way\n\nPresenters:\n\nCJ Lynce is the Assistant Director of Porter Public Library in Westlake, Ohio, where he has overseen day-to-day public service, technology service, security, and building operations since joining the library in 2019. Prior to this position, CJ was the founding Manager of the TechCentral Department and MakerSpace at Cleveland Public Library. His 23-years of varied experience within public libraries has allowed him opportunities to interact with a variety of populations and library sizes.
