This won't be a class on developing a program, but a discussion about how we, as libraries, are not exempt from following regulations. Topics will range from Federal OSHA standards to working with a library's local building department.   Some library administrative staff are not aware of the requirements or feel overwhelmed in figuring out how to implement them. This presentation will help define what needs to be done, and help chart a course of compliance.\n\nTopics to be discussed:\n\n	Hazard Communication\n	Bloodborne Pathogens\n	Lockout/ Tagout\n	Building codes\n	What we can and cannot do in-house \n\nPresenter:\n\nPatrick Jolly has been in Facilities with Geauga County Public Library for over 27 years.   Over the years, Patrick has not only been involved in building maintenance, but also helped develop and implement the safety program for Geauga Library. In his current position as Facilities Manager, he has helped establish the program of Geauga County Public Library as an example of a successful non-industrial Workplace Safety Program.
