Join EveryLibrary's executive director John Chrastka for a practical session that will help you deploy effective communications - both positive and opposition messaging - and provide you with useful take-home exercises for staff and boards.\n\nPresenter:\nJohn Chrastka is Founder and Executive Director of EveryLibrary, the fi rst nationwide political action committee (PAC) for libraries.  EveryLibrary provides pro-bono strategic and tactical support to library communities when they are on the ballot. Since 2012, they have helped libraries win over $100 million at the ballot box.  Chrastka is a former partner in AssociaDirect, a Chicago-based consultancy focused on supporting associations in membership recruitment, conference, and governance activities.  He is a former President and member of the Board of Trustees for the Berwyn (Ill.) Public Library (2006–2015) and is a former President of the Reaching Across Illinois Libraries System (RAILS) multi-type library system.
