It can be any successful program your library has done and doesn’t necessarily have to be related to summer reading.\nTo make the most of this great event, we also need attendees to bring handouts of crafts and decoration ideas. Poster sessions/demos are welcome, too. If you will be bringing handouts or would like to set up a poster session please email rachelle.perry@neo-rls.org.\n \nFeatured Presenters:\n \nDani Gustavich, Children Services Librarian- Dayton Metro Library​\nInteractive Story Telling With Music and Sound: Dani will present ideas and provide interactive demonstrations on how to integrate music and sound into storytelling to make your libraries rock this summer!\n \nDani Gustavich realized her passion for early literacy while working as a lead teacher at a childcare and family center, where she devised and implemented a center-wide literacy program. She began her library career as a Children's Specialist for the Stark County District Library, where she implemented Sensory Story Times. As the former Children's Services Manager for the Dover Public Library, Dani enhanced community involvement by raising money for a permanent StoryWalk installation at Dover City Park and by organizing two large events featuring Eric Litwin.  She is on the slate for the 2018 Caldecott Committee Ballot and hopes to have the dream of being on the committee fulfilled and recently became the new Children's Services Librarian at Dayton Metro Library.\n \nKaitlin Walker And Bonnie Berg-Simmons, Youth Services Associates-Twinsburg Public Library\nKaitlin and Bonnie will discuss how to bring music to every facet of your children’s department, from story times to programming and even passive activities that patrons can use at will. They will also discuss ways to drum up Summer Reading Club interest with class visits and school assemblies. Whether you have a background in music or have never even touched an instrument, every librarian can help foster a love of music and learning in their library.\n \nKaitlin Walker has been a huge music nerd since she first learned to play the piano as a child. She has since played multiple instruments in multiple bands and loves to share her love of music with anyone who is interested.\n \nBonnie Berg-Simmons has had a very brief musical career since a disastrous holiday concert in third grade.
